Our Switzerland Socials are neutral ground—spaces where leaders, neighbors, and changemakers come together to connect, share ideas, and build trust. These gatherings are the heartbeat of collaboration, where open dialogue fuels bold action. As the think tank behind this movement, Switzerland Social creates the space for clarity, strategy, and imagination. Next New Orleans, one of our first action arms, puts that vision into motion—organizing, mobilizing, and engaging the public in decisions that shape our future.

Win #1: The inaugural Switzerland Social meeting, held on March 21, 2025, was a resounding success with attendance exceeding 200 participants.
Win #2: In one of our first united efforts, Switzerland Social and Next New Orleans stood against four proposed amendments—voters ultimately upheld current policies on taxes, legal oversight, juvenile justice, and judicial vacancies.
Win #3: In a historic and deeply contested vote on May 3, 2025, Orleans Parish voters narrowly approved the renewal of a key jail funding millage—passing by just four votes after a recount. Switzerland Social and Next New Orleans stood firm in raising awareness and mobilizing civic engagement around the issue, helping ensure every single vote counted. The measure, which will generate $13 million annually—roughly 20% of the Sheriff’s Office budget—now moves forward with increased public scrutiny and community attention.
Together, these early wins are just the beginning. From standing strong on key ballot measures to building powerful community gatherings, Switzerland Social and Next New Orleans have shown what’s possible when we move with intention and unity.
